Your foundation for this occupation

Poster and street-furniture installation often involves a round of several locations. You must keep campaign, location and specification aligned. Supervised entry can be suitable. Ask about fixing systems, substrates, ladders, platforms and traffic environments, each requiring appropriate instructions and training.

From preparation to your first day

  1. Develop the practical skills

Prepare the round with location details, materials and sequence. On site, confirm the item belongs there and the substrate and fixings are suitable. Report missing permission, damaged infrastructure or unsafe arrangements before proceeding. A correct design at the wrong site is still an error.

  2. Check your work

Check readability, alignment and specified attachment after installation. Complete the required handover record and note damage or deviations. Remove old posters and packaging responsibly. For maintenance, distinguish repairs you may make from those for a technical team.

How can you grow?

Progression includes independent rounds, complex systems and campaign scheduling. Project coordination adds material preparation, routing and site liaison. Reliable location data and clear reporting matter as much as efficient fitting.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need advertising-design experience?

Not always. The core may be correct installation and maintenance. You still need to understand work orders, distinguish variants and recognise intended visibility. Ask how much production preparation is involved and how much work takes place on site.
