Pay by province

There are still too few employers per province for concrete formworker to show a reliable range. We publish one as soon as at least five employers in the same province state a salary.

What determines your pay within this range?

As a concrete formworker, your pay depends on your experience and the construction sector pay scale. Sector allowances in construction can raise that amount.

ExperienceThe more relevant work experience you bring, the closer you land to the top of the range.
CertificationsA recognized certificate for this trade strengthens your negotiating position and your chances of a higher salary.
RegionSalary ranges vary by province, depending on local demand for this role.
Company size and sectorLarger companies and certain sectors often offer higher pay or extra benefits on top of the base salary.

Benefits beyond your salary

Meal vouchersA tax-advantaged allowance for your meals, on top of your gross salary.
Eco-vouchersAn annual allowance for sustainable purchases, often a standard part of Belgian employment terms.
Hospitalization insuranceMany employers insure you (and sometimes your family) against the cost of a hospital stay.
Commute reimbursementA contribution towards your travel costs to and from work, by car or public transport.

Temp agency or permanent: what's the difference?

With Werkvolk, you always apply directly with the employer, never through a temp agency.

Through a temp agency

  • The agency withholds a share of your pay as its fee
  • Limited seniority build-up between assignments
  • Uncertainty over whether your contract gets renewed
  • Often less access to company benefits than permanent colleagues

Directly through Werkvolk

  • Your full salary goes to you, with no intermediary
  • You build seniority and benefits from day one
  • You know the salary and benefits that come with the job upfront
  • Direct communication with the employer, no middleman

Where do these numbers come from?

This is an estimate by Werkvolk, not a measurement: a range for employees in Belgium, updated on 15 September 2026. Your exact pay depends on your experience, the pay scale of the sector and your schedule. As soon as at least five different employers state a salary in their vacancies on Werkvolk, we show the measured pay here, rounded so you can never read off what one particular company pays.
