As a healthcare assistant you care for and follow up patients under the supervision of a nurse. You support daily care and independence, observe changes and work with nurses and colleagues. Follow the care plan and report observations. Additional clinical tasks depend on the applicable scope, training and arrangements; medication support is not blanket permission for every healthcare assistant. Experience may develop in residential care, home nursing or another setting. Transfers require induction to the population and procedures.
