Your foundation for this occupation

Product demonstrators explain clearly and answer honestly. Clarify campaign, audience and demonstration format. A store promotion differs from a trade show with longer conversations. Preparation includes product knowledge, permitted claims, records and practical setup.

From preparation to your first day

  1. Develop the practical skills

Practise a short demonstration starting from a visitor's recognisable need. Show the key function and relevant limitations. Check equipment and stock beforehand. Learn to support interested visitors without pressure or collecting information beyond campaign instructions.

  2. Check your work

Ensure explanations match official product information and orders are recorded accurately. Report recurring questions and practical issues. Tastings and other specialist demonstrations require their specific hygiene and product-use instructions.

How can you grow?

Experience can lead to technical demonstrations, exhibitions, promoter training or account support. Explain in an application how you simplify a technical subject and check understanding. Clarify arrangements for preparation, travel and setup time.

Frequently asked questions

Must every demonstration lead to an immediate sale?

It depends on the campaign. Goals may include sales, explanation, trials or follow-up appointments. Ask which outcome is expected and how to record it. Many conversations are not the same as meaningful interest.
