What will you do?
You prepare your equipment and cleaning products, set the machine parameters, check the safety devices and go over the finished result with the customer. Whether you work as a car cleaner, car detailer or high-pressure sprayer, hygiene and safety always come first. You also keep basic work records and pay attention to the environment, for example by using water and products responsibly.

Car-wash work starts with recognising vehicles and surfaces before choosing products or equipment. Conveyor washing, hand washing and interior cleaning differ in pace and technique. Ask which treatments the role includes. Matte paint, wraps and delicate upholstery may need different handling from standard surfaces.

Develop the practical skills
Practise a consistent reception and cleaning sequence. Confirm the selected service, note obvious existing damage and follow vehicle and equipment instructions. Keep tools for heavily soiled areas separate from those used on delicate finishes. Follow product labels and workplace instructions; using more product does not automatically improve cleaning.
Check your work
Inspect the vehicle in good light for remaining dirt, streaks and missed areas. Inside, check moisture, personal belongings and controls. Report faults or unexpected damage promptly instead of concealing them with further treatment. Keep walking routes clear of equipment and slippery contamination.
How can you grow?
Further training can lead to interior restoration, vehicle preparation for sale or detailing. Polishing and paint correction require more knowledge than routine washing. Planning and customer-service skills can also lead to shift leadership or branch support.
