What will you do?
In this role, also known as a railway worker or rail layer, you first determine the working method, set up the site and demolish existing track before laying a new one. You install level crossings, maintain the rail infrastructure, register data and communicate with your team. The work belongs to the transport and logistics sector as supporting railway staff, and it is technical outdoor work where safety comes first on every stretch of line across Vlaanderen.

Is track work ordinary road construction?
