Working as an asphalt and concrete road builder or compactor operator, you prepare the works, organise your workstation and set out the road before you start. You get heavy machines ready for transport, check that they run properly, set them up and manoeuvre them with precision. You mill asphalt and concrete, lay concrete, spread asphalt and roll it flat, then carry out first-line maintenance and record your data.
