As a professional mover or removal worker you select the right removal equipment, assemble or disassemble items and move heavy loads, sometimes even industrial machines. Your foundation for this occupation
Moving is careful transport work inside buildings that may remain occupied. Beginners learn packing, team handling and protection of floors, doors and stairs. Develop the practical skills
Prepare a room-by-room inventory and practise dismantling with labelled parts and fixings. Discuss the carrying route before lifting large furniture: narrow passages, turns, delicate surfaces and safe resting places. Use agreed commands and suitable handling aids; strength does not replace a shared plan.
Check your work
Check quantities, labels and visible condition at collection and delivery. Record existing damage under company procedures. Secure loose parts and packaging so contents cannot shift. After reassembly, check stability and completeness before handing the room back to the customer.
How can you grow?
