What will you do?
In Dutch the trade is also known as zandstraler, reiniger van gevels or gevelreiniger-zandstraler. You set up the site, prepare the work and get the surface ready. You remove the existing coating, adjust the spraying machines and clean the masonry thoroughly.

Your foundation for this occupation
Training starts with substrate and soiling identification. Brick, stone and coatings do not tolerate identical methods. Ask about test patches and methods. Height work and equipment need separate task training.
From preparation to your first day
Develop the practical skills
Prepare surroundings, windows, joints and residue handling. Agree method and outcome. Practise supervised test areas. Fast uniform appearance is not success if material is damaged.
Check your work
Compare with the agreed sample and assess the substrate too. Report discolouration or damage rather than escalating intensity. Record the method and clean up properly. Use honest before-and-after images.

Specialise by material, maintenance or conservation cleaning. Ask about travel, weather and access. Historic facades differ from recent paving. Describe experience by substrate.
